But if you change your to positive thinking, it will different. The problem is very troublesome, of course! But this thing can make you stronger and better. Remember your childhood, what thing you can do?? and remember your self now, how is your hair now? how many thing you can do now?, compare it! If you have experienced many problem you must be very different. Someone who have experienced many problem is different to someone who never faced problem. Someone who have experienced very hard problem, he/she will be very strong.

BEAUTIFULL MIND (HARMONY BETWEEN BODY AND MIND)

The body is a dancer's instrument, but is it attuned to the mind? A new study from the University of California, Berkeley, suggests that professional ballet and modern dancers are not as emotionally in sync with their bodies as are people who regularly practice meditation.

UC Berkeley researchers tracked how closely the emotions of seasoned meditators and professional dancers followed bodily changes such as breathing and heart rates.

They found that dancers who devote enormous time and effort to developing awareness of and precise control over their muscles -- a theme coincidentally raised in the new ballet movie "Black Swan" -- do not have a stronger mind-body connection than do most other people.

By contrast, veteran practitioners of Vipassana or mindfulness meditation -- a technique focused on observing breathing, heartbeat, thoughts and feelings without judgment -- showed the closest mind-body bond, according to the study recently published in the journal Emotion.

"We all talk about our emotions as if they are intimately connected to our bodies -- such as the 'heartache of sadness' and 'bursting a blood vessel' in anger," said Robert Levenson, a UC Berkeley psychology professor and senior author of the study. "We sought to precisely measure how close that connection was, and found it was stronger for meditators."

The results offer new clues in the mystery of the mind-body connection. Previous studies have linked the dissociation of mind and body to various medical and psychiatric diseases.

"Ever have the experience of getting home from work and realizing you have a blistering headache?" said Jocelyn Sze, a doctoral student in clinical science at UC Berkeley and the lead author of the study. "The headache probably built up throughout the day, but you might have been intentionally ignoring it and convincing yourself that you felt fine so that you could get through the demands of the day."

Increasingly, mindfulness meditation is being used to treat physical and psychological problems, researchers point out. "We believe that some of these health benefits derive from meditation's capacity to increase the association between mind and body in emotion," Levenson said.

For the experiment, the researchers recruited volunteers from meditation and dance centers around the San Francisco Bay Area and via Craigslist. The study sample consisted of 21 dancers with at least two years of training in modern dance or ballet and 21 seasoned meditators with at least two years of Vipassana practice. A third "control group" was made up of 21 moderately active adults with no training in dance, meditation, Pilates or professional sports.

Participants, who ranged in age from 18 to 40, were wired with electrodes to measure their bodily responses while they watched emotionally charged scenes from movies and used a rating dial to indicate how they were feeling.

Although all participants reported similar emotional reactions to the film clips, meditators showed stronger correlations between the emotions they reported feeling and the speed of their heartbeats. Surprisingly, the differences between dancers and the control group were minimal.

Researchers theorize that dancers learn to shift focus between time, music, space, and muscles and achieve heightened awareness of their muscle tone, body alignment and posture.

"These are all very helpful for becoming a better dancer, but they do not tighten the links between mind and body in emotion," Levenson said.

By contrast, meditators practice attending to "visceral" body sensations, which makes them more attuned to internal organs such as the heart. "These types of visceral sensations are a primary focus of Vipassana meditation, which is typically done sitting still and paying attention to internal sensations," Sze said.

The study was published in the December 2010 issue of Emotion. In addition to Sze and Levenson, coauthors are UC Berkeley psychologists Joyce W. Yuan and Anett Gyurak, who is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University.

I have doing meditation since I was a very young girl in elementary school, but I really get the benefits of this recently. It's difficult enough to do this well. Standart License tidak mengizinkan penggunaan foto pada produk yang akan dijual secara massal (dalam hal ini pembeli harus menambahkan Extended License).

some day ago, I have finished to translate Making Blogger Template Tutorial from ourbloggertemplate.com to Indonesian language. I can say it is great achievement because I don't know about English too much. I hope my reader can understand, hehehe...

Now I try to make my own Blogger template. I have tried to tweaking CSS code before, but only for modified template design which made by other person. So, I think that I never made template before.

What do I need??? I don't know exactly. May be I can say that I need fulfilling my primary needs and secondary needs. And if I can do more, I will fulfill my other needs. But It's not as simple as I say. Because human desire is not limited, including my will too. When was a child, I wanted to grow up quickly, but now when I'm 19 years old, I want go to kindergarden again. Such a suck will. You know, we are trapped in cycle of desire. Without start and without end. I hate to say that this cycle of desire is the source of suffering.

It have been long time I didn't post something in this blog. Cerpen kita is my Indonesian blog. I write my short story here. It is Not Important Diary in Indonesian version. You know, this is my first blog before I write other.

I have changed this blog in new version. I change the template and try to post frequently here. One thing I don't understand. Google give this blog pagerank (2) while I never updated it since 3 months ago. But I don't care. This blog not for business.

Not like this blog, I don't put any advertise there. That blog pure blog, pure for write only. It is for my hobby. I like to write story and novel or other nonfiction.

In that blog I give my reader pdf facility. If they don't have much time to read in my blog, they can download my story in pdf format, so they can read it sometime and don't need internet connection again. I put translator in my blog too. So, if you are not Indonesian, you can translate it. I use google translator.

You will see that this small think can safe your link better. Rel="nofollow" tell google spider to not count that link as outbound link. So this won't give velue for the site we linked.

I surprised when look at my pagerank banner (the most bottom widget). Google give me pagerank (3). I never thought that this new site can reach pagerank (3). My other blog, Kamus pengetahuan only reach pagerank (1) since it's launched whereas it has more visitors each day. My site Cerpen Kita, has less than 10 visitors each day and long time was not updated. But, it has google pagerank (2).Such a weird assessment. What the caused???

FRIENDSHIP BRACELET

I don't know that few days ago, 10 June 2009 is a friendship day. My friend gave me a surprised. She called and invited me to meet her. I love to meet her because she want to give me free dinner. hehehehe...

She was waiting me in our favorite book store. I arrived there after 30 minutes. When I arrived, she was getting angry because of my late. I didn't hear her protest because I know she can't getting angry more than 10 minutes. As my thought, she back to normal and gave me unique handicraft, a bracelet. I will call it friendship bracelet

I don't know where she found this bracelet. This is has simple design and I think the maker made it by hand only. I see my junior high school hair style in this design (I know she has the same opinion).

JIMBARAN BEACH

This is one of beach in Bali. Even I live in Bali, yesterday is my first time visit to this beach. It caused by free lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday.

Actually, this beach is very beautiful. It has white sands and clean blue water. The breezy wind can make us relax and forget tired for a while. This beach is similar with Kuta beach but it steeper than Kuta. I would like to spend much time in this place if there is not too much cafe and the weather not as hot as that time.

I don't know why everyplace in Bali is used to get profit. So many cafe, hotel, and all facility for tourist. In the future Bali will not like Bali again, everybody change it to be tourist world. I found the same in this beach although not too significant. There is many cafe in Jimbaran beach. It makes me uncomfortable to enjoy the scenery. I want to see silent beach, not like this.

WHY THEY ASK LIKE THAT?

My friends asked me "Siapa pacarmu sekarang?" in Indonesia it's mean "Who is your boyfriend now?". Their question broke my heart. They should ask "Still in relationship with Mr A?", it will make me better. But with their words I seem like a girl whose boyfriend always change in short period. I don't like!! Even I used to be before.

When I was senior high school student, I couldn't find a special person (boy). I can't remind how long I spend my time for each person, because my time for him was very short. My relationship could survive for 3 months only. So... embarrassed.

But now is different. I won my prince heart. He always in my side and I like his personality. He is very kind and calm person, I love him so much. We celebrate our relationship anniversary at April, 6 2009. He gave me a brooch, a nice brooch with rainbow color. I can trust that he is my last boyfriend.



WHAT ARE FRIENDS ?

What do you thing about friend? Have you ever mind what are they for?

One of my friend told me that she found the mean of friend. She said that friend is someone who always be your side when you happy as well as sad. She think that friend must be honest and royal for friendship. I don't think that what she said is wrong, but i feel nobody can describe what is the true mean of friend, everybody has a different mean.

Someone may think that friend is someone who always in their side, but for me, friends can't always in our side. They may has so much problem so can't help us when we got trouble. We shouldn't blame them if they can't do what we want they do. Any other told me that friend is someone who royal for friendship. But I think, someone who too royal for friendship, they will do all of friend want they do. If our friend want us do positive thing it will be positive, but if they want us to do negative we will drive ourselves to negative too, won't it?

For me, friend is someone who care to me. Yes, just it, nothing else. If they care to me, I can say that they are my friend. They may not help me when I need help, but I sure that they has good reason why they do it. They don't have to be a similar person like me too. I trust that everybody is different and I like someone whose unique personality.

On behalf of the United Nations, on 27 May 2009 UNESCO launched a website, as the launch site for free online university.
Site www.portal.unesco.org his / ci / en.

This free online university have been used as the first in the world. To support the sustainability of this program, the UN Global Alliance for Information and Technology Communication and Development (GAID) has given its commitment to further education. The program is designed lecture for free, from the cost to access the course materials to its study.

For the first epidemic, opened the two-way, namely Business Administration and Computer Science. Founder is reshef Shai, who said that his background was established this university is that there are currently hundreds of millions of people in the world that is not possible to study in universities, both because of the limitations of cost, infrastructure and time. DON'T THINK TOO MUCH ABOUT THE PAST

Why I write this? Because I don't like thinking something in the past, moreover this thing make me so regretful. I have to think so many thing for my future, it's the cause why I should spare my brain use. Something in the past should to forget for improve my concentration for the more important thing.

I know that our experience in the past can be important lesson, but we can't change it, just for learning. People should to think the future more then the past. We can work for the future only. Is it false?

Failure, Broken heart, and many thing more can make us feel regret. Don't think that can stop us. Because if we think like that, this thing will really trammel us. Try to get it's positive thing. We can find our poorness or learn how to do it better. Don't thing that we will face the same failure again. The bad thing will drag us to negative future.

I like to hear music when I frustrate, stress, or sad. I will hear hard music to express my disappointed. I will get rest from my usual activity for a while. I will turn off my cellular phone and close my room. I try to be alone if I sad.

Of course it my way only. You can do your way to get rid of your stress. I hope you have the way. You can't do another good thing if you can't stop your regret, frustrate, or stress. So, do you get your way?

Although many of us may feel air-conditioners bring relief from hot, or polluted outside air, they pose many potential health hazards. Much research has looked at how the circulation of air inside a closed environment - such as an office building - can spread disease or expose occupants to harmful chemicals.

One of the more widely publicized dangers is that of Legionnaire's disease, which was first recognized in the 1970s. This disease was found to have affected people in buildings with air-conditioning systems in which warm air pumped out of the system's cooling towers somehow flowed back into the building, in most cases owing to poor design. This warm air was, needless to say, the perfect environment for the rapid growth of disease-carrying bacteria originating from outside the building, where it existed in harmless quantities. The warm, bacteria-laden air was combined with cooled, conditioned air and was then circulated around various parts of the building. Studies showed that even people outside such buildings were at risk if they walked past air exhaust ducts. Cases ol Legionnaire's disease are becoming fewer with system design and modifications to older systems, but many older buildings, particularly in developing countries, require constant monitoring.

SUWAT, MY VILLAGE IN BALI

There is so many place well known in Bali, but my village isn't part of it. My village is a small village in Gianyar but just a little amount people know about it. Have you heard about Suwat? I don't think so. Many people know Ubud, Tampak siring, Kuta, Sanur, or Nusa only, but nothing about Suwat.

I love my village because there is no pollution and still natural. We can face firefly in the night or early morning. When I was a child, I like to keep an eye to this animal until morning. I want to see if it's light die out. And I found it's light die out when the sun rise. It may caused by sun light or automatic natural switch. I don't know

Suwat has handicraft industry. Many people here make candle, frame, and photo album. Their product is unique and made by natural material. They used leaves from certain tree for decorating their handicraft. We can find Balinese wood carving too. It's unique ornament make so many people want to get it.

Even this place not as well known as Ubud and Kuta, many tourist usually ride bicycle here. They may like the fresh air and this natural place. But I'm not sure they remind the name of my village. They like to catch farmer's picture when used his buffalo to fallow field. Sometime they can see duck gang swimming in the rice field too. They are very curious.

My parent live there. I hope they are fine now.



LASKAR PELANGI, BEST LITERARY BOOK ABOUT EDUCATION

Being Student in Indonesia is difficult enough. Financial or finance is the major problem we face. Until now I feel nobody know how to solve this problem. Scholarships, loans, those thing may be the best we ever thought. But there are so money student can't finish their study. Student loan and scholarship only reach little amount of student in Indonesia. But now it may change because government implement free school for elementary school until junior high school.

This book tell us about that problem. This book is being written based on the writer experience in education. You can find a ironic and honest story about ten Belitong Children who have great spirit to study, called Laskar pelangi. Even their finance don't support them, they try to study. You will find a child who drive his bicycle for 80 km to go to his school, more over he usually face crocodile in his journey. You can find how genius they are too.

This is Best Literary book I ever read. This book make me crying, lough, and feel their spirit. I get a motivation to study again. I want to reach my dream like Ikal in this book.

You will regret if think education isn't important thing.

THE MYSTERY OF MIGRATING ANIMAL

One of the most mysterious things in nature is the ability of certain creatures to find their way home, sometimes from great distances. Birds are not the only ones who can do this. Bees, eels, and salmon are able to return to a particular place after doing journeys, too.

Most migrations take place between breeding grounds and regions where animals feed. For some animals, such as the lemming, the move is a one-way trip. Scientists call this movement emigration, because these animals never return to their homes. For other animals, such as birds, the migration includes a return trip home. Birds move in periodic migration, or at regular times during their lives, and often to the same place year after year.

Many experiments have been made with birds in an attempt to find out what guides them on their way home. In one case, seven swallows were taken 400 miles from home. When they were set free, five of them returned to their nests. In another case, a certain kind of sea bird was taken from its nests on the Welsh coast to Venice by plane. When it was released, it made its way home to its nests, a distance of 930 miles if it flew in a straight line.

Migrating birds offer an even more amazing example of this ability. There are swifts and house martins that migrate from England to South Africa every year. They not only return to England the next spring, but may of them come back to nests in the very same house they nested the year before. They not only return to England the next spring, but many of them come back to nests in the very same house they nested the year before. They fly the incredible distance of 6,000 miles, one way.

Certain types of butterfly migrate, too, and find their way home over long distances. In the tropics one can sometimes see the great mass flights of butterflies all flying steady in one direction. They may go a thousand miles and more and then return again in another season.

Despite all the efforts that have been made to explain how these creatures find their way home, we still have no sure explanation. Since many of the birds fly over great bodies of water, we cannot explain it by saying they use landmarks to guide them. Just to say they have an "instinct" does not really explain the right conditions. The reason they do it may be to obtain food or to reproduce under the right conditions. But the signals and guideposts they use on their flights are still a mystery to man.

I use free internet in my office. By this reason, I can use Internet how much I want. I love browsing, blogging, and facebook. I can't avoid this activity. It's is difficult. Information become primary need now. I can't life without my blog, my facebook and google. Nice!

SAMSARA, BOOK ABOUT LIFE

I can't imagine how can the author write this book. He write simple sentences but has a great value. His book contains short story with beautiful meaning. His story make us think deeply what is our true life.

I love his story about heaven. Every one want to make heaven be their own. They feel that they are the best person but God feel tired with their pride. They are greedy person and just want all the best for their self only. They think that no one as good as them. But God know the truth. God left heaven and went to a world names Idiot Country. 

His book has more interested story. You will find yourself go to new world you never known. You will ask your self what the meaning of your life. Or you will think deeply "Do I as same as this person?". You can find firefly and serene village in your own imagination too. Too much to say, I just can give you advise to read this book soon.

MY MIND AND MY LIFE

There is a theory about mind power. This theory said that our life follow our will. What we want will happen to us. Nowadays, many people learn how to control their life by mind power. But I think no one exactly know how it work.

This theory also told us that our mind is control the nature, not nature controls our life. If we think that we can do something, our mind will accept this Information and nature will apply it to our life. Therefore we can do that thing. If we think the opposite, the opposite will happen. It’s a silly sentence but I and any people trust it.

We have many ways to do that but just any people exactly know how to do. I don’t exactly know too, but I have tried with my way. I know I’m not professional in this case but I have learned what to do. I try to do that in praying. God is the perfect I know ever, I believe he will fulfill what I want. I ask him what I want and believe it will happen to me. One sentence is my inspiration, “Ask and you will be given”.

You might read this theory in books, like The Secret and The Big think. May be you have do all of the book told to you but no one happen. Your life still drives to unsatisfied life. You are not alone. I used to felt the same. I have blamed all when my life drives worse. I blamed the books, my friends, and God. But now is different. You know, everything is not instant. We have to through process before get success. Now I realize it and try to accept and just work to get my goal. I ask God what I want, and then I work to get it.

Beside that, pray from other people may contribute. So, I want to get good praying from others. I hope nobody want my failure. But we can’t avoid people’s dislike. Someone (I forgot his name) has told me how to do in this case. He told me that we should pray to God and ask a happily to them. It can avoid the bad energy from their mind.

There is one thing I apply but it’s not a tip from professional teacher. This is my way only. I always try to not tell my goal to other people. I just work to get it and shut my mouth. I tell other people if need their helps only. It’s because I’m not comfortable to other person. I don’t like they know what I want and mock it. This is my goal and my life, I don’t like if some one want to change it.

Many of my friends call me "Nak Cenik" (in Balinesse, that word means a child).Perhaps it's becouse I'm the youngest in my office . I just in 20 years old and my Office mate is 24 in average. More over, My body is so little, like a junior high school student. Ok, I'm child, but I can do what they can do.

In Hindu, we call it reincarnation, punarbawa, and samsara. Punarbawa consist of word "Punar" and "bhawa". Punar mean Dead, lost, or destroyed and Bhawa mean birth again. It's possibility mean after dead and birth again. This is the circulation of life.

I don't like to be the same in different time. It's boring. I love to be different person in the other time. After my teacher told me about Punarbhawa, I has a dream. I will not become girl again, I want to be a boy.

You know? A girl is a very complicated person. In the east country, be girl is very difficult, there is so many thing which repress us. Girl must in feminine appearance, girl must in soft personalize, girl must accept what culture tell to them, a wife must follow his husband, and girl can't get good carrier, just become wife. I can't do it. I'm a free person. I hate cultural prison. And become just wife, My God, please don't ask me to be that. I love my life and I don't like in my husband prison. I want to be free!

Beside that, I don't like fashion like the usual girl do. I can cook, but I don't like to be feminine. Many people said that I'm not the true woman. I don't think it a lot, "yes I'm not a woman" I said back.

I love to learn about physic and programing, I love math, but the usual girl like biology or the other lesson which need reminding skill. Girl like go to fashion center, I like go to game center. I'm not suitable to be a girl. I prefer be boy to girl

I don't know how can I fall in love to him. It's so silly thing but true. We just connect in hand phone, sms, chatting, and friendster. But it's just a memory.

He saw me in Udayana University when I attend physic contest. I didn't see him, but he said that he had seen me and exited. He got my phone number from my friend. He told my friend that his friend exited to me and want my phone number where as his friends is himself.

I love to chat with him. In six months we just chatting in internet or send message to his phone, I didn't has any opportunity to meet him. It's make me sick! i felt that he just play me. I don't like that situation but he never has a will to change it. More over, his friend who in the same school with me usually mock me. he said that I love his friend. I got stress.

One day I did a mistake and he can't pardon me. I told him that I know what he think. I know he love me and I think that his friend mock me because he ask to him doing it. After I said that, he was angry. He call a  negative thinking person. What' wrong? I still misunderstanding in what he think.

What is ITB? ITB is Institut Teknologi Bandung (in Indonesian) or Bandung Institute of Technology (my translate). ITB is the first technical institution in Indonesia. This University has many great faculty. It's make me exited. I love to be one of it's student (if i can pass SNMPTN).

My work make me bored. I don't like monoton thing like this. Make report everyday can run us to be crazy. I don't have any adventure, I don't have any colors in my life, everyday is report, irregularity, Aeroplane registration, passanger, baggage, fuel, delay, flight number, no one of this thing can make me comfortable. May be my face will revolt to be aircraft.

When I was in high school, i has so many activity and enjoy to be part of organitation. I was a jurnalist in the school. Making magazines, creating attractive article, and being part of school jurnalist make me really life. I get my heaven. But now everything have changed.

My boyfriend give me a advise to study again. He ask me how about study in univercities. I want it, but I have trouble in finance. He lough me, I like a stupid person now.

This morning I have done a big mistake in my office. I went to office without shoes, I just used sandals. With my innocent face I met my boss without regret. He looked carefully to me. He inspect me from hair until my toes.

Now days, short pant is booming in Denpasar, Bali. Going to the beach, u can see almost girls use short pant. In the street u can see sexy girls use as same as the girls in the beach. I don't know how it can work. The girls in the world seems has telepathy. They received all information of fashion in a second and applied that in a day. It's a unbelievable adaptation.

For women, fashion is very important, but I think it isn't more than a lie to their selves. They bought all cloths which offered, like they can't live if they can't be fashionable. I'm a women, but I don't think about it too much. It's may be the cause why many people said that I'm not the really women.

INIKAH JATUH CINTA?

I cann't understand my feel now. It's so weird, make me mad altough it don't do anything to me (miss drama mode on). My heart beat so crazy if my boyfriend nearby.

Sumpah, cowok gue sekarang bikin perasaan gw beda banget padahal dia ga lebih ganteng dari pacar2 gue sebelumnya. Contohnya hari ini. Dia ngirimin gue foto-fotonya di Medan, foto-foto itu bikin gue pengen nangis... gue pengen ketemu dia. Udah lama kami berada di pulau yang terpisah, jadi bener-bener pengen ketemu.

Contoh lain waktu gue nungguin kedatangannya di bandara. Perasaan gue amburadul banget. Baru ngeliat dia gue langsung bengong, ga mampu ngomong apa-apa. Gue ga bisa menguasai tubuh gue. padahal gue udah bilang sama tangan, "jangan macem-macem! Rame tau! malu nanti". Eh, si tangan ga mau ngikutin gue! langsung aja menggandeng tangan si dia. Dasar ganjen (tapi gue seneng).

Beberapa fakta yang gue kumpulin berhubungan dengan cowok gue

1. Gue tiba-tiba sok manis sama dia, padahal kalo sama cowok2 gue sebelumnya gue ntu pacar yang galak n bossy bgt! Gue dulu ga pernah peduli cowok gue mau sibuk apa kek, ada acara apa kek, yang penting kalo gue mau ketemu dy harus ada di samping gue. Gue selalu nunjukin kalo gue lebih hebat n cowok gue mesti patuh sama gue. Giliran sama yang satu ini, gue tiba-tiba jadi orang sabarrrrr.... gue mendadak jadi pengertian n percaya bgt sama dia. Satu hal yang ga pernah terpikir buat gue lakuin sama cowok gue yang lain tapi gue lakuin ama dia adalah gue selalu berusaha bikin dia seneng. Gue ga tega ngeliat dia susah.

2. Pertama kalinya gue ngenalin cowok gue ke ortu, dan itu dia.

3. Kehadirannya bikin pipi gue panas, adrenalin gue selalu naik kalo di deketnya.

4. Gue jujur tentang kelemahan gue sama dia. gue ga pernah curhat sama siapapun kecuali 2 sahabat terdekat gue. sekarang gue bisa curhat ama dia

SIAPA ITU NARCISSUS

Narcissus itu adalah dewa dari mitologi Yunani. Dia adalah anak dari dewa sungai Cephissus dan peri Liriope (gimana ga ganteng). Katanya, Narcissus ini Guanteeeeen bgt! Gara-gara kegantengannya ini banyak banget cewek yang jatuh cinta sama dia. Karena ga da yang diliat cantik kali ya, makanya si Narcissus ini ga tertarik sama satupun di antara mereka.

Di antara cewek yang tertarik ini ada salah satu yang namanya Echo. Cewek yang satu ini ngebet banget sama Narcissus, dia ini sampai rela mengejar Narcissus kemanapun dia pergi dan terus menguntitnya kapanpun dan dimanapun (kalo gw ogah dah). Lama-lama Narcissus akhirnya sadar kalo dia punya fans fanatik. Waktu Echo bilang pada Narcissus kalau dia jatuh cinta padanya, cowok itu menolak.

Echo sedih banget. Dia langsung bersembunyi di hutan yang sepi. Tubuh Echo makin lama makin menghilang hingga yang terdengar cuma suaranya.

Melihat kesedihan Echo, dewi Nemesis berniat memberikan pelajaran buat Narcissus. Dia menghukum Narcissus agar dia jatuh cinta kepada dirinya sendiri. Kejadian itu terjadi saat Narcissus berjalan-jalan di sungai Styx. Waktu noleh ke sungai dia kaget banget ngeliat orang yang ganteng banget. Kurang dari sedetik dia langsung jatuh cinta. dia ampe bengong mandangin wajahnya sendiri. Sebuah keinginan gila muncul di kepala cowok ini, dia mencoba mencium bayangannya. Tanpa sengaja dia tercebur ke sungai. Dewa-dewa lain menemukan mayatnya dan mengubahnya menjadi bunga yang di sebut bunga Narcissus.

Narsisme adalah perasaan cinta terhadap diri sendiri yang berlebihan. Istilah ini pertama kali digunakan dalam psikologi oleh Sigmund Freud dengan mengambil dari tokoh dalam mitos Yunani tadi, Narcissus.

Menurutnya Sifat narsisisme ada dalam setiap manusia sejak lahir, bahkan Andrew Morrison berpendapat bahwa dimilikinya sifat narsisisme dalam jumlah yang cukup akan membuat seseorang memiliki persepsi yang seimbang antara kebutuhannya dalam hubungannya dengan orang lain.
